What is the price range for your custom wedding gowns?
Gowns start at $2500 and can go up to $5000+ for more complex and full styles. These prices include all fabric and fittings, and vary depending on the fabric and style.
What kind of fabrics do you use?
I take pride in using 100% silk or cotton fibre content or silk/cotton blends to ensure the highest quality of construction and aesthetic for my gowns. This also ensures the breathability and lightness of the garment. Fabrics are sourced locally and overseas from Europe and Asia.
Can you explain your creative process?
At your initial consultation, we will discuss your design and get a feel for what would best suit your personal style. We will also look at fabric swatches and existing samples to create something unique for you. This takes approximately one hour.
We will then finalize the design and fabric choice, and I will take your body measurements. This can sometimes be done at the first consultation; however, I understand you may need some time to think about your design.
During the fitting process, we will refine the style and make sure your gown is the perfect fit for your special day. Fittings generally start six months prior to your wedding and I require roughly 3 to 4 fitting sessions, depending on the complexity of the gown.
What will I need for my first fitting?
Please bring whatever undergarments you will be wearing on the day of your wedding. Shoes are not necessary for first fitting, however they will eventually be needed for hemming on your last fitting before pick-up.
Can you explain your payment process?
I require a 50% non-refundable retainer upon invoice—and the remaining payment is due upon completion of the dress. I understand that a higher-priced gown may need a more tailored payment plan to suit your needs and I can certainly accommodate such cases. Payment can be made via e-transfer or credit card.
